I generally remove the blade and place it on a microfiber cloth and fold it over then gently press to dry it.
then very gently rub in the direction of the blade edges with the cloth (being careful not to touch or rub the cutting edge with the cloth) to remove soap/hair that's stuck to the blade (if it looks clean after the press dry I sometimes skip this step).
then I dry the razor then put the blade back in the razor and store them in my bedroom draw with all my shaving supplys.
I've never had any issues with this method.
