Diameter of Soap Bars?

What's the average/ideal diameter of a round bar of shaving soap please?

(I've looked at quite a few for sale online but although may state the weight they don't give the measurements)

My tubular mould is approx 60cm diam.

Just checked out a couple of my wooden soap bowls (TOBS & Connaught) and they are 8 and 8.5 cms. internal diameter. Around that figure means there is enough room to swirl a shaving brush.

That's more like it!

Although I'm guessing here that it is a PVC tube, right? wouldn't a 6 cm ID PVC tube be a PITA to work with, soap-wise (especially softish soap-wise)?

It's PVC but I use it for hard soaps only - and lined with a piece of "professional quality" non-stick oven liner.

80mm. I've got my reasons:

Inside diameter 81mm. Size of C&E soap cakes (amongst others): 87.5mm

Tabac:

Soap:
75 mm - top
30 mm height
70 mm from bottom

Bowl:
45 mm - height inside bottom centre
80 mm - circumference
52 mm - internal height from sides
60 mm - height from outside
55 mm - bottom
