EDIT: THESE ARE RUSSIAN MADE GILLETTES NOT CZECH

Hey Antdad

That is a good price, but I'm fairly positive those are Russian Silver Blues and not the Czech variety. I've tried both and the Russian is not quite as good but at that price it is still a bargain. 8p each, I'd much rather have those than Red IPs or Derbys.

Pete

I agree Czech blues are better than Ruskies, there is a picture on the post that indicates they are Czech made, hope so anyway.

I've probably got more blades than I can feasibly use, ..............but these are very good blades.

Impossible - Unless (number of blades x 3)/365 is significantly longer than your life expectancy

HM, I think you should start a service advising shavers on how many blades they need to acrue to last their lifetime. Can I start? I am 34 years old, I don't smoke, rarely drink, am generally healthy but frequently have dirty thoughts. I live in rural Suffolk and drive about 10,000 miles a year. Oh razor guru, how many blades shall I buy? :D

You can leave your'e Mrs something when your'e worm food.

Thanks Tony, very cheerful! Actually my grandma is 98, so I am hoping to hit the big 100. Only downside to this is the expense involved buying blades to cover my mind-boggling longevity. Plus I'll probably get Alzheimer's and forget what a razor is actually for... :(

Hey PC...it cheers me that if we all last our "natural" cycle's statistically I should be outlived by off spring and spouse. Not to sound too depressing on this fine day but my neighbour has dementia and can't remember who I am and my father coughed up his lungs into my lap after being a smoker for 50 years. Long life is way over rated, I would be happy to last the average as long as I was healthy :D

I suppose learning how to use and maintain a straight razor would curtail the necessity to blade hoard and would be the cheapest long term shave of all but it may reduce your life span in the short term.

I agree, a happy healthy 'shorter' life has to beat a miserable unhealthy 'longer' life any time. At the moment I am very happy so hopefully all will be well with me for some time at least. Even more important to me is the health of my two boys who now come before everything! :D

They are bl**dy Russian blades, Pete was right.

I have been in touch with vendor lets see what happens, otherwise they are going back.
I already have some of these Russian made Silver Blues and I am not keen.

Yep, mine arrived today too and they are indeed Russian. Should I be overly concerned? I don't really want the hassle of complaining if they are OK, but how do I know they are OK without trying them??

My brain hurts!

Up to you PC. I will send you a pack if you want to try them and you can send the order back.
I'm sure these will turn up again if you end up liking them.
