I recently bought this from eBay but as soon as I tightened the head it became clear it was cracked.

Can someone help me repair it? I guess as the material is Bakelite then it needs a specific glue.

Any ideas how to get as close as possible to an invisible repair? Thanks

Hi Bertie,
I can suggest looking at this web site for some tips on how to repair hairline cracks in bakelite. Also, look in the antique radio forums for advise, antique radio casings were made of Bakelite and there is always restorations going on.
