Thought I would compare these two recently acquired razors.
Left side - Tatara Nodachi SB with Masamune top cap and with Masumune handle.
Right side - Yaqi SLOPE 316 Stainless Steel Slant with Ikon Bulldog aluminium handle
Blades - Both with first use Gillette Wilkinson Sword
Pre and Post shave - 3P
Soap - Jermyn St Sensitive
Brush - Chubby 2 Synthetic
I did three passes with each razor. The Tatara combo had slightly less blade feel. It was slightly easier ATG with the Yaqi
Slope. The Tatara was more efficient. There was equal burn using the alum block but there were no cuts or weepers with either razor. A win for the Tatara on this occasion but I will swap face sides to double check. I am finding the 3P balm excellent.
