I have not timed it but pumping takes about 30 secs once you are used to it. With pouring in the water, cleaning up etc. the total time per cup is in the 2 min. region I guess. As with all espresso it pays of to preheat the cup. I pour some hot water in.
Pumping takes some power once you build up pressure so SWMBO struggles a bit at the end. I have no problem being a big strong male ;-)
My Canadian friends were impressed last year, and so was many an American who saw me use it. If you ever go there, Starbucks have a decent quality ese pod. Pods are about twice as expensive as the same coffee loosely packed. You pay for.ease of use.
