cleaning a straight

Just picked up a Gotta Razor in pristine condition apart from what seem to be black water marks in a couple of places on the blade. Thought I would ask here before trying to clean it in any way? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

If it's just watermarks then Autosol Polish will be all that's needed. For anything other than that, wet and dry paper starting at the lowest level required and then progressing through higher grits.
