For the last couple of months I have been putting all this and more into a blog <link deleted to stop the oxygen of publicity>which people have been very gracious and kind about, enough to encourage me to continue.

That's enough about me!

Bruce

What a prick!

Indeed.

It seems that every forum he posts on, he get's up people's noses almost straight away.

Obviously, it's not the way he behaves that's wrong, it's just everybody else.

Ian

Someone should run a book on how long he lasts before he pisses everyone off and moves to another forum.

Honestly, im starting to think i see a pattern beyond interest in shaving. More like an attempt to build a name and a marketing base prior to launching a 'BruceOnPaving' Product..
I may be wrong tho.

There is enough fodder about him on the net that one could quite easily create a website called

<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.everyoneonbruceeveriss.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.everyoneonbruceeveriss.com</a><!-- w -->

However Im sure that if someone did that he wouldn't see the funny side of it.

... which is one of those "odd but true" sorts of things, as I can see no other side to it.

Hmm .. .that's what I get for trying to think of mainstream commercially accessible PR stuff, I guess.

  • No edge to it...[/list:u]

Anyway, no, they didn't let me into T in the Park ... so I let myself in to P in the Pool.

  • ROFLMAO (I so love the way your mind works .............. or doesn't, your choice).

His blogs wins on content alone, there are some very good informative posts.

Just my opinion.

If it was original content I'd agree with that, but it's not. It's content ripped from people's posts on the shaving forums. If you read something unique and insightful on any of the forums, you can bet within a day or two Brucie will have passed it off as his own on his blog (whilst stripping it of any humour or character). The only thing he seemed to provide a unique perspective on was his eulogising of cheap razors and brushes from China, which he just wouldn't stop harping on about and it quickly became tedious.

Thats the same thing I was going to say. Picking up info on all these shave forums then passing it off as his own like he was a grand master of shaving.

Nailed that one right on the head, he is a master of consuming information posted by people and their experiences, regurgitating it and then passing it off as his own adventures in an " Im a one man revolution in wet shaving and your all here to bow before me" whilst ramming anything remotely f**king Chinese down your throat.

  • Ta muchly mate.

    ... and it definitely works.
    • Maybe not the same ways as most folks', or towards the ends some would prefer it to, but it absolutely does work.
      • Sometimes, the most annoying thing about it, from my side at least, is that it doesn't stop working some times.
        • Click click click buzz buzz buzz thoughts roll and spin and bounce about the inside of the the skull and seem like they might never stop.
          • Sometimes it's not even thoughts, as in working through ideas, or solving problems or puzzles and such.
            • Sometimes it's like snippets of songs, or occasionally sections or lines from speeches or jokes, comedy routines, conversations, sounds etc.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]
                • Sometimes, the most annoying thing about it, from the audience's/reader's side, at least I would guess this, is that it doesn't stop working some times, and that makes for posts like this one ... [/list:u][/list:u]
                  • :|[/list:u]

Apart from the tool making his way to DFS and now apparently TSD and shedding his expertise on brushes:

My post got edited and oh noes I have an "infraction" cause poor old Bruce/Mods couldn't take the "If you want to FAIL at shaving listen to BruceonDil**"

Peter must feel flattered about now considering the genius does nothing but proffer Pete's blogs at just about every thread.

It's one thing to refer to someone's blog or thread as an homage or what not but another to repeatedly post hoar it. For instance, as much as I love Omega at least I recommend every other brand of brush I've had positive experiences with and not just one.
