Changed my package and got a new router etc,it says i have to set it all up useing the main phonepoint :evil: This will be a pain in arse as its nowhere near pc...Do i have to do it this way.

No, but usually it will give you either extra speed or more stability or both. Crappy extension wiring is the biggest cause of not getting as good a sync speed as possible.

I already am i think I know the daughter connects her laptop and wii to it somehow...

Yup - sounds wireless unless you have a wire to the laptop and have shelled out for an adaptor for the Wii...
