Blades with the most environmentally friendly packaging

Hiya,

Can anyone tell me what blades have the least packaging, or the packaging with the least amount of plastic (preferably none)?

Is there even such a thing?

I'm new to DE shaving and have assumed the blades will be recyclable, if I can find a recycling and reuse centre that will take them, but would like to reduce the packing waste too if possible

Plenty of blades come sans plastic.

Astras, rapiras, bolzanos etc.

Avoid feathers and Derby's. Lots of plastic.

Greg.

Get a metal used tin, when full just recycle the lot. I use a metal mustard powder tin.

These have all got cardboard only packaging....

Asco, Astra Platinum, Astra Stainless, Bic Chrome Platinum, Big Ben, Croma, Dorco, Elios, Gillette 7 O' Clock (Green & Yellow), PermaSharps, Polsilver SI, Racer, Rapira (All variants), Shark, Sputnik, Supermax (All variants), Treet Durasharp & Platinum, Trig, Voskhod.

Derby, Feather & Wilkinson all use plastic.

And to confuse matters there are some Astras that use plastic as well!
