I'm glad you got a razor from the great vintage year of 1962. My birthday is in February and I guess it would fall in within the code of H1. I wasn't aware that razors could be dated in such a manner before joining the forum. It is a real eye opener.
All the best.
A friend of mine bought an H1 razor, and shortly after that an N1 as well.
It wasn't long before he contracted Swine Flu.
take your pick......... :shock:rangers62 said:Pig Cat said:Bathroom Recluse said:Hi Rangers62

I have traced a good quality Black SS U1 at a good price but would really like one for the month of May.
Any help will be appreciated.
PS: I'm tempted to buy the U1

I know that the thread is predominantly Gillette orientated, but I was wondering about an old Wilkinson Sword butterfly opening razor that my dad had back in the 60s.
Does anyone know if vintage WS razors ever appear for sale?
