Well not normally a morning shaver, working hours seem to dictate me being a nightie (I am a terrible boss!).
But thought as I had time this morning to go for it, showered first so bristles had a good soaking, applied edwin jager pre shave cream, lathered up with standard wilkinson sword soap, then with a new wilkinson sword blade in my de89 shaved as follows:-
1 pass WTG
1 pass XTG
1 pass ATG
Obviously I rinsed and re-applied lather between passes, but after the pass ATG I then rinsed with really cold water applied lather and did a final pass XTG.
This certainly seems to have done the trick for me, managed to get finished without
having to use my styptic stick, and have achieved a 100% smooth finish even when i rub against the grain, it doesn't get better than this!..........oh dam have I climaxed!!
