Hi, what do you honing guys think is the best stone for getting the best edge on a streight razor?
I've been using Shapton Kouromaku ceramic stones up to 12k.
They are good but can't seem to get that super sharp edge where the razor just guides without any effort.
So will natural stones help get that silky smooth shave?

I’m no expert but starting with a Belgian coticle would be the way to go before jumping into the expensive World of jnats, there are plenty of videos on YouTube on the subject such as Martins Shave Tests, good luck.
