BBS - arrives later

I rarely aim for it or shave ATG, some do. So I stroke my chin, a nice close enough shave but not BBS.

A bit of post shave nothing unusual, an hour or two later stroke my chin super smooth BBS.

Does that happen to you? What's happened, has my beard shrunk or skin grown.

I would have to agree with Henk, I've had this happen a few times, just after the shave I can feel a tiny bit of stubborn stumble then later its gone.

Exactly gents...I do use alum and witch hazel.

Certainly worth considering if you like BBS and not shaving ATG, as I do.

I have due to time constraints left the under chin area a bit rough and found that it feels perfectly smooth within say 30 mins of shaving rather than 1-2 hrs.

I have considered that I might not need to do so much work but I do try to go for a BBS and my skin seems rather resilient as I tend to do 5 passes under my chin, and don't end up it much in the way of burn or irritation.

This has also been my experience, and I often wondered why.
I always knew that wet hair expands, but somehow it never occurred to me that it would contract that much upon drying.
Glad that's cleared up!

Nice one. I thought I was the only one.

I'll shave. Right afterwards it feels fine but doesn't look it.

Only after applying balm and having breakfast does it look good.
