Well 1/4" solder is just a teeny bit agricultural for electronics :mrgreen: I'm sure my dad with his 1950's soldering iron with it's 3/8" (9.5mm) tip would disagree though - I'd use heavy grade solder exclusively on plumbing repairs (using my electric pipe irons to heat the joint - very pleasing to watch the solder get wicked in to the joint - less pleasing when you put the water back on and it leaks though - I hate plumbing :lol: )
