Interesting.
Time permitting i do the opposite..
In the shower I apply oil, oil cleansing method mixture of;
1 part cold pressed castor oil
1 part almond oil
4 parts olive oil
A few drops of tea tree essential oil
I apply a hot face cloth to my face - shave area- prior to leaving the shower.
Shave....after the last pass I lather up one more time & do as Mantic did in his clip.
Post shave routine.....
I am not sure if doing this is of any real value, but..

There was a thread recently in the pre-shave section where a few of us said we do this, myself included sometimes, although I must confess that I'm not persuaded that it makes all that much difference. Pleasant though. Fozz: your technique sounds like what's being discussed in general shaving at the moment, so you could probably shed some light over there.
