Good to know when I'll get an B&M soap as I most definitely would not have added so MUCH water.

Wow, I would never imagine putting that much water into any soap...

I do have a couple of B&M soaps (omnibus) and they are truly excellent. I normally stop putting water in roughly at the point when he says in the video for the second time "you may think this is enough water ... but guess what ...". So I suppose it's "experiment time" for me yet again.

I made the lather as he suggested this morning. Performance wise I'm not sure it did any better then usually. I do use more water with his soaps than with the others but not this much. And yes he's right this method is total mess with lather flying around the bathroom.

The lather around the 4:00 minute mark looks good to me for all passes. The one he ends up with I'd rinse off and start over, way too runny and translucent/thin.
