Naniwa Super Stones are Top of the Range & Fantastic Hones..A 1 K Professional Would be a Nice Addition as the Bevel Setter..And a 5 K Super Stone to Go Between the 3 K & K...Good Choice..You Wont Regret it..They Come Almost Flat..320 0r 350 Grit Wet N Dry Will Flatten them Fast with a Marble Plate..Just Use a Marker Across the Stones & When they Lap Out the Stones are Flat..Also..Chamfer the Edges as Well..That Sorta Rounds the Edges Off for Smooth Use..

I had a bit of a read up on bevel setting and progression and ordered the 1000 and 5000 on Thursday.
dont want to rush in too quickly, baby steps to start.
