Yes the second best blade, best by far is Gillette Silver Blue. Smoother comfortable close shave after 2 passesHey guys
Just joined. id like to know your thoughts on Astra blades. I have tried many different brands and find that Astra blades always gives me a far more superior shave. No irritation, no razor burn, no niks no cuts....daily shaves!
Just a smooth perfect shave...
Just took delivery of four packs of Astra blades. Just unwrapped a pack now and noticed there is no etching or logos on one side of the blade. I'm sure that this has been brought up before but I have searched and can't find anything. Not sure whether to use them now as a little concerned they may be counterfeitYou mean no branding at all on the blades? That is strange.

Astra blades bought a year ago was like the blade on the left. The right side one unlike those which were in a sample pack.Only one way to find out......shave off!
I bought them a year ago so shouldn't be affected by the changes of late.I've got two packs through a trade with Blademonkey; all of the blades so far have had etching. That being said, I couldn't tell you how long ago they were produced. Nice blades though, easy to use.
In the same discussion it was said that the blade character has changed significantly.
