In USA there are some artisans who make custom straight razors. Do you know someone in Europe who makes the same? Thanks.

Mastro Livi and Gabor Gunkel (aka Buddel). No link for Livi, but here's Gabor's gallery:

I've just commissioned a pair from Gabor, lead time is a matter of about 4 months.

I think I like the cheapies best, it seems that he doesn't get so carried away when he's working to a price.

True, I too think the others tend to be a little over worked. Not Red Dwarf over worked, more like Star Trek

What's this then?

I think it´s a Accessori per il tempo libero  ... well I don´t know :D . Libero would be books, I guess, but it makes no sence what so ever.

It matches my avatar!

The English version says that it's a "tool for free time", so I suppose it's intended for the discerning amateur whaler.

Actually i've been meaning to ask, that guy in your avatar is he trying to slice his nose of?

And what about the prices of Gabor's razors?

That's Queequeg, performing a Gillette Slice with his harpoon.

Veering wildly back onto the matter in hand, here's what Gabor says about his prices:
"A normal halfhollow razor with wood scales costs 250,- Euro
A full hollow, because of the time and difficult is 350,- Euro.
The price for a mammoth ivory handle alone is 200,- Euro, giraffe bone is 150,-. All the other handle materials are cheaper."
Hardly cheap, but compare it to a premium TI or Dovo production razor, which incidentally is unlikely to come ready to shave.

Vanghino per tartufi modello nero

It's a "little digger" for black truffles so 200 euros isn't too bad, you only need to find half a truffle to pay for it.
