A little more reasonably priced.

Very good price on the Sandalwood Balm, I am so glad the soap in the wooden bowl was not listed there. I bought one after you sent me a sample of the cream, loved the smell and performance and the hard soap seems to get good reviews so took the plunge. Wonder if the balm is worth it? I have read of a lot of people say it can leave oily sin if used a few days in a row.

Nice find Antdad, AIS stuff is nice, pricey but nice.

If you are going to treat yourself the SW balm is worth it.

It is pricey but with all their range you only need very little.

Those AOS balms are half the price they are at The Gentleman's Shop - are they off the back of a large lorry?

Nah...just means their prices are nearer the norm. In a recession (not technically I know) I'd expect luxury men's grooming products are the first for the chop along with florists and dog groomers.

I recently picked up some of the lavender shave cream whilst I was in New York. It's very good stuff, great scent andf performance. I should have just bought from here though, could have saved myself a few quid. Mind you, I did get some samples thrown in, which probably evens up the price a bit.

I found out the hard way about AOS scents. I had a sampler given to me in a decant bottle and fumbled the bottle but managed to catch it, however most of it ended up in my hand so I thought sod it and just rubbed it in over my face and neck and then dried my hands off on my forearms. I was honking for about four hours, I couldn't even stand the smell myself and that is saying something. If I was in the film "The Fugitive" they would not have needed scent dogs just follow the dead insects and people who had passed out.

Even at the end of the day if I turned my head I was still getting a whiff of it, this put me off it for a while but I later used the little that was left in a more controlled fashion and it was like a different product. Really pungent when overused but nice when applied sparingly.

It was the Lavender I spilled, just that I used about half of the small bottle in one go. Don't get me wrong it was nice after it had dried down and i would use it. I just bought a bottle of the Sandalwood EDT and some soap after trying the cream you sent, I assume the Sandalwood EDT is much the same ie. use sparingly and it will be lovely, between the two I like the Sandalwood more.
