Are Weishi / Lord worth bothering with?

I have just this very afternoon got a Lord (its marked up as an L122 - but on the site is an L5). I have a friend who runs a soap website and she is selling them off - her shaving stuff seems to be a loss leader compared with the soaps and bathbombs side of the site. So as it was incredibly cheap (£4) it would have been rude not to.

I have also picked up some Patchouli and clary sage hard shave soap - I'll let you know how it fares, but it smells divine.
 
I've recently bought a Lord L5 from Connaught intending to use it for travel. It really is much better than I expected for the money. Decent finish, shaves well but is a bit light compared to my more expensive razors. Without wishing to start any trouble with Merkur fans I would say it is better finished than my Merkur 39c slantbar.
 
I agree with Blyth, the Lord L5 is good value for the money but a bit of a mild shaver. Since I prefer a heavier razor, I will probably use it as a travel razor though.
