Moody: I thought of vise aswell, but I think you´re right. What´s pliars? It actually shave very good, yesterdays shave with it was better than todays with a straight(and todays shave wasn´t bad).

Aha, I´ve got one these :D ... I´m affraid to crack the plating though and thought that we maybe had a DE doc among us ... or that someone knew about one ...

The safetyrazors.co.uk shop is closed from 12th October until 27th October due to annual holidays.

I'd agree with MM, if you can wait a week, don't do anything that might make it worse.
If it was an ordinary rocket or SS, I'd say give it a try, but not with this one.

+ 1 on that, I tried and push it back with my thumb, but even then I couldn´t bring myself to push really hard. No, this is for someone who knows what he or she is doing.

It's possible.

DONT...try and bend it back yourself. It will break and the razor ruined

I did the same with my 34' Aristocrat, not as bad so I decided to leave it.

You need to find an jewellery maker, that would be my first stop.

The Rhodium plating will be fine, that would be the least of my worry's tbh.

You have to decide what you can live with. Its a risky procedure, you may end up with a broken tooth.

Thanks Tony! I had a momemt where I was thinking of maybe trying to trade it for a nice brush (since I´m really into straights, but this is a lovely and competent razor). I´ll try a yewellery maker. Thanks again!!

Actually, looking at that tooth it isn't bent at all, that end tooth is so solid it has bent the area of the base plate it's attached to so that "should" make any repair a little safer to carry out.

Just don't go for perfect repair, just get it looking satisfactory.

I don´t mind it not being perfect (even though it would be nice of course), it´s after all a very old piece and I´m a user more than a collector (I´ve got a rule that says I can´t buy stuff I can´t/will use). Thanks again!
