Are Penhaligon's aftershaves any good?

We're heading up to York for the weekend and have decided to call in at the Penhaligon's outlet store on the way back on Sunday. I've already got a few of their EdTs (English Fern and Endymion) and I'm hopefully planning to pick up some Blenheim Bouquet.

Has anybody tried any of their aftershaves? I expect the scents are good but what about performance?

Any other recommendations from their line-up?

I think (and hope) that they are substantially discounted. It might be a bit hit and miss what they have though. I've not been myself before but seeing as we're up that way anyway thought it was worth a visit, well my wife did. The weekend away was an anniversary present from her but I get the feeling it could end up costing me.

I haven't tried any Pen's AS's but the cologne was 2 for £50 + postage last time I ordered so considerably less but it comes without all the extraneous packaging.

I'd expect the AS to have less fragrance though, I quite like the 1870 but I have to be in the mood and it's an Autumn/Winter scent for me.

I love the BB, worth buying in my opinion, especially at the reduced rate.
