Anti-perspirant

+ 1 for Mitchums, has to be the Solid-looks like Alum Block= look out for it when it is down to £2 at most places.
I have always had problems, until discovered this one. They do a Mens/Ladies version.

When you sweat you also release toxins from the body blocking your pores on a regular basis can't be good for your long term health, I don't work in a office so maybe using antipersperant regular doesn't apply to me, I do sweat heavily especially during some fast paced walking even so fresh sweat doesn't really smell so even if you did work in close proximity to other people sweating for a few hours won't make you smell of BO that quickly.

Only a tiny amount of toxins is found in sweat. Liver and kidney remove the vast majority of them. I'd think they would easily remove what wasn't released by sweat. Excessive sweating can even reduce urine production by the kidneys, leaving toxins in the body for longer. Having said that - I don't use pore blockers. I use alum. It doesn't stop sweating, but it is antibacterial. No bacteria - no stench.

L’Occitan roll on deodorant

Antiperspirant sprays work but really upset my skin and I’ve never found a roll on that you can still smell at the end of the day that actually works.

Enter L’Occitan roll on. I thought I’d give it a try as I like the matching EDT and balm so thought why not. I can honestly say the scent on this clings to you all day and ingredients wise is a lot more kinder than sprays are. I suppose proof in the pudding will be seeing how it performs in the hotter months but at present is keeping me dry and retaining the scent so I feel I’m onto a winner.

It’s not cheap but worth it for quality and if only buying once a month I can just about cope with it. Take a look if you’re in the market for a new effective pleasant smelling deodorant.

I stick to one product. I currently use Sure Sensitive roll on. It works, whilst others in the office had sweat stains. It has never stained my clothing. I started using it when it was virtually free at Unilever staff shop. Prior to that, I used a roll on from Sanex that included Alum. In the noughties I used Adidas roll ons. It must be 20 years since I used an aerosol.
