Ive only been wet shaving A few weeks
With and across the grain still only!!
But shAves are coming Along.
Mainly I enjoy the process. Especially lathering. !!

Tried my first xtc pass today, not sure what went wrong but glad I had invested in a styptic pencil! Lots of blood just above the adams apple! Did not realise how much that would sting though!

The problem may have been the bumpiness of the area you were shaving. Have you tried the trick of pulling your skin first to one side then the other? This means you are shaving an area that is normally on a lumpy part of your neck when it is positioned on an easier flatter part.
