That was the only thing that I thought might help the Aeropress. Having larger holes would seem to bring out more flavor than paper, Sorta like a French Press with tiny holes.....heh.
Those metal filters are expensive if I remember right.

Thread revival, but I ave just joined the Aero' club!
It cam with some ground coffee, but it is a fairly mild light coffee and quite coarsely ground. I thought it would be better a little more finely ground. I'll grind my own and see.
But so far (one cup!) I like it. It will never replace my espresso machine, well it will when camping, but I Can see it getting a lot of use!
Any tips?
Are all metal filters the same or are some to be avoided/preferred?Metal filter! The taste is incomparable to the paper filters it comes with.
