[Smell The Glove]

As the weather outside is frightful, and snow is all around.

I was wondering what it would be like if, after shaving one was to take a handful of snow and apply it to the face.

I only got as far as the wondering stage and didn't actually go outside and give it a try. Opting for a splash of Old Spice instead.

Anybody out there braver than me? It has to be the ultimate in cold water rinsing.

As you surmised, it's cold... followed by a kind of burning as the blood returns to your face....

Avoid the yellow snow when doing it though.
