Brass Hot Water
Original, quality, 1920's brass water can as used by the housemaids etc to carry clean hot water to each bedroom for guests. This example has a dimpled effect to the main body and the standard half top hinged lid. Impressed to the underside "Made in England", "Solid Brass", "JS&S" for the manufacturer Joseph Sankey and Sons of Bilston, Birmingham and 3A for the size 3 pint. All has been polished and lacquered and is complete and in good and working order. Base 6.5" x 4.5", total 9" tall x 5" andx 11.5" including spout.
