A little help on IDing a '40's Gillette

Just received this '40 Gillette. It was sold as a '40's Ranger or Milord. It doesn't have end caps(not missing them either) and it has a pre '48 center bar. My guess is 1941 but it's gold tone or shinny brass. There isn't any nickel plating anywhere on the razor. I have a '41 ranger and the marking are identical. I've tried a photo of both together. Any help with an ID would be appreciated. Thanks.

Think you may be right. Found photo of one similar in case. But that one has end caps. So this one may be a '41 Milord???

Yes! That's her '40! Very interesting thought that the Superspeed style started with the Ranger in '41. Glade that I bought the Milord and happier still that you could help me out with the ID!
Thank you.
