Ring-pull tins. Nasty! You pull and when they finally click off, it springs product everywhere. Conventional removal every time. But yes, Corned beef - that's a sound method.
 
No mate, I just abhor change for the sake of it and hanker for a time when the world was a better place, when you could leave your doors unlocked at night and there were great dramas on TV like, "Crossroads"...:-(
