2010 - Two thousand and ten or Twenty ten?

I always associate twenty ten with Celtic Manor,I don't know how I will say it yet.

Nobody said two-hundred and nine for 2009, so I don't see why twenty-ten should be used for 2010.

Let's be honest, both will do, and who really cares?

Zager and Evans were way ahead of us:

Rush answered it for us in 1976 with their iconic prog rock concept album Two Thousand One Hundred and Twelve.

As it's an album surely it's seminal or classic rather than iconic?

Of course, actually it's bollocks. Ah, prog rock: neither progressive nor rock.

A friend of mine is a big Rush fan. He even (might still do) played in a Rush tribute band. He was really, really pissed off when his daughter was born at 21:14.
