Yet another thread I've only just discovered.
I've been a watch fan historically but find myself wearing one less and less...being retired does that to some of us!
I tend to wear one of 4 at different times.
If I hardly want to notice that I'm wearing a watch then I'll go for this...Boccia Titanium. Cheap, very light and very thin and a nice clear dial...something I like in a watch.
If I'm feeling a little more adventurous, maybe even a little more steampunk, I wear this one...my Zeppelin chronograph. I use a Cabot watch company Aviator strap on it, as I reckon it looks 'right'...
If I just want something to clip on fast and that I can trust, and I don't keep in 'sleep mode' to save battery power, then I go for my trusty retro Casio Wave Ceptor...
But my favourite watch is the one I wear when I go hiking or wild camping...it's my favourite all time watch...the proper Cabot Watch Company G10. I love its simplicity, and the fact that I can put new batteries in the small hatch on the back and I can get the batteries easily. Again, I like the CWC Aviator strap on this...just like the way they are fitted and their general style...
So that's it for me in this thread...If i went through some of the watches I've owned in the past, then time itself would run out!
Cheers all
