SOTD 1 May.jpg
Pre Shave: Hot Shower + Bulldog face wash and Proraso white
Razor: Seygus Gold 2016
Blade: Wizamet Iridium Super (#3)
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic
Soap: La Toja cream
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Bulldog balm

My first use of the Chubby 2 synthetic, I have tried a few other synthetics the Razorock 400 and even the body shop synth are both good brushes so I had high hopes for the Chubby 2. I started to bowl lather with a generous dollop of La Toja cream, the Chubby just ate all the cream and was not building a lather, I was just about to start adding more water and decided to face lather instead. Things went a lot better face lathering.

Shaved head and face today. Proyet razor strop, vintage razor Leflin XIXmc Siegle Leresche France 6/8, badger brusch two bands Semogue 5th anniversary barbearia do bairro, cream Castle Forbes lime, after shave whitewater old spice. Exquisite classic shave [emoji145]

Prep ~ Shower, Valbora Tallow soap
Razor ~ Blackland Sabre L1
Blade ~ Gem Blue Star, Carbon steel
Soap ~ Barrister And Mann - Night Music
Brush ~ Razorock - Big Bruce
Post ~ Taylor of old Bond St AF Aftershave
Scent ~ Pashana Cologne

The sabre is still a very efficient razor (for me) with the L1 plate so this is what I used today along with the wonderfully fragrant Night Music and was rewarded with a close and very smooth shave, perfect. :)

Wishing you all a very good day....P.

Omega 11126 boar
Blue`s Soap
Ever Ready " Jewel"
Gem S/S coated [ 1 ]
Tabac A/S lotion

I find it very satisfying to get a quality Shave from a Vintage SE, as they need you to concentrate on your technique throughout the Shave Luckily this ER Razor performs very well with a fresh blade, so my care and no rush Shave was rewarded with an " Up There Finish"
My skin is feeling vcery refreshed as during the Shave I used large amounts of the Slick Lather that this cheap little soap produces.I feel sure that this helped me obtain a mishap free Shave with no post shave problems.
