A lovely 3 pass shave, no issues, still feeling BBS in parts, about 15 hours after shaving.

Started off with the Rex dialed into 5 - good blade feel, with 3 and 2 on the subsequent passes.

All the best,

Chris

Nice idea - High Mountain Panda, Two band Panda, Best Panda - I'd pay top dollar for that - although I can hear the PETA jihad being prepared as I type. Next thing you know David Attenborough is throwing red gloss paint over your front door. You don't want to mess with your iconic species. What about Polar bear? - I.

...Polar Bears - another great idea. I would not worry about the environmentalists or animal rights lobby; if Professor Mayer Hillman is correct humanity is doomed anyway as we have already passed the point of no return and global warming is now a given - even if every nation immediately turned vegan and completely ceased using fossil fuels - this coupled with the fact that the 6th mass extinction event is already underway and biological annihilation has been happening for decades. So a Polar Bear and a Panda shaving brush maybe useful keep sakes for people that are left in the future, which by all accounts will not be many :)

Bleak but true - I have a copy of Dr Richard Leakey's 'The Sixth Extinction' in my book case behind me as I type. Let's go for it? Gorilla brushes? Silver back to silver tip is but a short hop, skip and and a jump. Yours - I.

Greetings,

Another early start for me yet again, but hopefully the last for a while....

A very enjoyable 'lavender theme shave' using a very varied assortments of shaving kit, but it worked wonderfully together yet again, resulting in a 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The derby cream i've had for well over a year now, and it'still half full,a great cream that always provides a excellent protective lather with a nice scent, and good post shave feeling,..adding to that, great value for money...A superb cream.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Fonex Gummy~ Turkish Lavender Cologne...Another item in my shaving den that i've infrequently not used much...Shame on me!

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

I don't give this razor enough love, mainly because I struggle to fit it under my generously-proportioned nose, but it went in without too much of a struggle today. I love the weight of it, meaning only the lightest of touches is necessary. A single pass gave me as close a result with the Feather as two passes with the Vigshaving combo, just a few minor touch-ups required. No cuts or nicks, but I am feeling properly exfoliated.

Any scritchiness in the brush disappeared long ago, and it's a joy to use with cream. I could just have done with loading a little more this morning (which perhaps helped with the exfoliation).

Happy shaving, all.

Prep ~ Shower, Mysore sandlewood soap
Razor ~ Valet VC4
Blade ~ Feather FHS -5
Soap ~ Enriched Mosavon
Brush ~ Zennith Boar
Post ~ Thayers witch hazel
Scent ~ Spicebomb Extreme - Viktor & Rolf

Not much to take off today after the shave with my Cobra so I thought I would take it easy with the Valet VC4, a good clean and smooth shave was had leaving me with my normal BBS finnish.
A splash of Thayers as an aftershave.
My scent for today is Spicebomb Extreme, wonderful!

Have yourselves a lovely day people. P.

+ 1 on the Monsavon..along with MWF & Tabac, it's my personal favourite soap. Enjoy your day P.;)

Wonderful SOTD & first use of Tabac...love it. FarBoy (6-4-4). Astra SP #4. 30mm Tuxedo Set in a Giles Shaving Co pottery handle @Roscotanna

First time with Tabac ! There's a reason why it's a classic & you've just found out why. Scent is ok for some & awful for others. Personally I love it. Soap is brilliant.
