I love the idea of a spearmint soap for the scent but without the face freeze and the streaming eyes! P.The Gamechanger does indeed perform as described, BBS & a DFS, not something i expected from an unknown razor used for the first time. If you want a high performing razor for a good price, do not hesitate!
- RazoRock Game Changer .84-P
- Lord Classic (1)

- NOM Black Fiber
- Stirling Glacial Spearmint
- Van der Lovett Sailors Blend AS Balm
The Stirling Spearmint is a joy, what a great smell and a frozen face as bonus, it is even a step up from the Cryogen where after you start bringing it on the third time it will (finally) feel frosty, this reaches that point at the second run, and puts your face in the deep-freezer with the third and last run. The smell is just like the packages of the Spearmint chewing gum of old times, just with a lot more punch and staying power, and without the annoying chewing
The poor Van der Lovett Balm does not stands a chance, its smell is blown away by a minty fresh whirlwind..
This soap you used was supposed to be quite a good scent match to the vintage Old Spice, did you get that? P.16/05/19

Pre shave prep: Pears Original Transparent
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Mocha
Soap: Stirling Spice
Razor: ER 1924 Shovelhead
Blade: Personna Gem PTEF S/S (5)
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel with White musk, lavender and Lime oil
Balm: Proraso Red Post shave
A/S: Old Spice classic
A Lovely Shave today, the Stirling soap and Yaqi brush brewing up a fantastic scented lather, a little more earthy that the OSP spiced road - I like it.
2 lovely passes without issues and I was overjoyed to find I needed to touch up, The face got another full lather for the occasion.
I just love these Ever Ready classic ladies, i cannot help but smile when using them, super smooth and efficient with a sound track, not as audible today though, i also found she needed a good shake on each rinse as the head seems to hold more water than the 1912's. Nothing from the Alum Block and a nice splash of my new witch hazel astringent.
Proraso Red post shave massage and a splash of Old spice classic.
BBS smooth and ready for the rest of my shift.
Enjoy the rest of the sunshine all.
Oh yes, just the shave itself has took over me for about an hour, i am sitting in the glow of a job well done, everything did what it was supposed to, they do match up quite well, i find the Stirling has a more earthy scent where as the OSP has a sweeter note. This soap you used was supposed to be quite a good scent match to the vintage Old Spice, did you get that? The 1924s do hold a bit water, because of their design. As you say, a wee shoogle and all's well. Great razors.16/05/19
