Thats a good shout have you tried the Nacet or voskod's yet ?

Voskod yes...wasn't fussed on them to be honest but as you know, everyone is different. I have a nacet lined up to try. Hoping it'll be a good'un as well.

Well at last you're showing some real taste...in blades at least! nacet and Voskhod...my two all-time favourites (A Rex would just spoil 'em)

Haven't actually tried it in any other razor but I have a few more voskods there that I'll try. Don't get me wrong it done the job and was by no means a bad shave..I just preferred others. GSB and Gillette Rubies have been the 2 stand outs so far.

iv never tried the rubies although they are on route with the rex

Surely you need to pay the same kind of cash for a decent vintage.
Especially in tip top condition

I would never pay $150 for any razor. Stop and think about that for a minute, it's just a personal maintenance item that you use in the bathroom. Would you pay $50 or $75 for tweezers? If shaving forums didn't exist and you could never tell anyone about it, would you spend big money on a razor?
