I sometimes forget there is a shop full of shaving gear in town (Master Barbers, Southport). Walking past today I had an urge to buy some Proraso stuff, so got myself some sensitive pre shave. Had the green M&E before but first time trying this

My Custom Re Scaled Kastor Swedish Steel 15/16th Arrived Today..Its a Lovely Blade & was Well Worth the Bother of Getting a New Set of Faux Tortoise Scales Fitted as the Original Ones were Cracked & Loose..Not a Bad Job..Its an Outstanding Shaver..

I placed an order for these blades and Arko a while back on Aliexpress as the deal was a really good one. I think it was just over £6 for both shipped.

Not like I needed any more blades and soap but I now have some more blades and soap.

A vintage butterscotch Rooney boar brush, which appears to be NOS. I have not used a real boar brush before, and I'm looking forward to trying it.

I have filled up five medium sized boxes...

with all the skin care stuff, you must spend half a day applying creams and stuff

The other half has told me off for applying two much, I am now only allowed two serums and a moisturiser.

I came across this Lynx DarkTemptation Aftershave in B&M Bargains today.



New packaging and different shaped bottle to the old one




Good stuff for £4.99

They also had a Citrus scented aftershave, but to my (untrained) nose was more of an aquatic scent

Twenty-two quid, heavenly scent.
Packaging, quality, overall presentation points to AdP.
I am also told it is certainly not of brushless type (but you can never trust sales assistants).

We'll see.

AnBBas synthetic and Travel Tube...brought to my attention by @Electrif . The brush will get a run out later. It has a larger glue bump than I would like but I bought it for the travel tube....and for what I paid for the complete set....I am not really worried if the brush is a disaster!
