Still with nothing to compare it to it got me started - but then my Arko arrived today so will give that a try tomorrow, still undescided if to shave a slither off into my bowl or try and face lather.

I've been loading my brush from the shave stick quick a bit recently and it works a treat for bowl lathering. When using a puck I do most of the loading work with the brush but when using a stick I work the stick into the brush. Just a thought, there's no need to rub the stick on your face.

£16.99 for 6, I believe - about £2.90 for a month's worth of shaves.
Or you can buy the handle and two cartridges for £4.99 (Superdrug) making the monthly cost £2.50.
