Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Hot shower:/ RightGuard ~ Energy Burst Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap. /Bloom water face wash.

Brush: Frank Shaving ~ Silvertip Synthetic.

Face Lather.

Soap : RazoRock ~ What The Puck. 'Orange Sunrise'.

Blade: GEM Personna PTFE. (1)

Razor: Ever-Ready ~ 1914 (Brass)

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Duru ~ Mandalina Cologne .

Wilco ~ Men's Moisturiser.

It's been a while since i last used my SE razors, so i'll be adding all of my vintage SE razors for my SOTD's throughout the week.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...last weekend i had a maiden shave with the RazoRock What The Puck 'Lime Burst' tripled milled soap, i've carried on this weekend with the second of the RazoRock What The Puck 'Orange Sunrise'..The verdict?....As with the previous maiden shave i bloomed the soap in hot tap water for 5 minutes and i was rewarded with incredibly citrusy scented rich, creamy lather with a very good slickness and a wonderful post shave feeling to my face...Superb soap, and another wonderful maiden shave.

My Ever-Ready 1914,as always was and is a pleasure to shave with evertime i use this vintage lady.

The vintage Ever-Ready SE razors don't get the credit they so rightly deserve,paired up with the Gem PTFE blade it mowed through my stubble with smooth sharp efficiency.

A very enjoyable comfortable 3 pass + pickups bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Wilco ~ Men's Moisturiser.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling Citrusy devine.;)

A smashing shave this morning. I love my Gillette Old; it really feels like you're working with a piece of shaving history.

Back to today. P&B's Spitfire is an amazing soap for performance, protection, slickness and glide.

Razor/Blade:- Gillette Rocket HD500 made in England 1950's / Vintage NOS Schick Plus Platinum #1
Post-shave:- Thayers Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil / WAHL Bay Rum Aftershave Splash
Fragrance:- N\A

5 more days to go for the whole month of Arko February shave.

The vintage Schick Plus Platinum blade feels like a bloody Feather blade which is very sharp and harsh on my skin...... CRIKEY!!

I love the Proraso Sandalwood Scent. The soap can be a little drying.....but that is easily sorted with the other lotions and potions!
I could have stopped with 2 passes but went for a third to have a really close and comfortable shave.

The Executive Shaving Company is where my wet shaving journey started. After deciding to take the plunge I visited there and my fate was sealed.

Today's shave is for them.

Brush, cream and razor all worked in harmony giving me a BBS finish and a smile.

I may visit them again soon but I'm terrified my bank balance won't cope as I tiptoe around the top of the rabbit hole.
