Shaving recipe for today.
Prep: Warm shower:/ L'OREAL ~ Mountain Water Shower Gel.
Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving ~ Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Soap: Palmira Serbia shaving soap.
Blade: Personna Platinum.(1)
Frankenrazor: Yaqi DOC Head. / Schmidt R10 Handle.
Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Benjamins~Mentholated Bay Rum.
Aloe Vera Gel.

Another early morning shave...
It's been a considerable amount of time since i last used the personna platinum blade and forgot how smooth and forgiving these blades are, i had all intentions of using a 'lab blue' but had a change of plan and used the personna platinum instead, which is a equally good blade choice that matched up with the mild Yaqi DOC head wonderfully making a making a smooth non-aggressive but efficient duo.
I can't remember the last i used used the Palmira shaving soap, which (smells like marzipan) very like 'Cella' but with a milder almond scent overall..My first attempt at lathering wasn't very good, due to me adding far too much water when lathering.After a few lathering attemps i finally got it to the consistancy of which i like..'I have much better results with a synthetic brush, I squeeze out all the water from the brush giving it a quick shake then loaded it on to the wet soap, Starting to face lather adding 2-3 drops of water to the tips of the brush, when needed which gave me a excellent slick protective lather for the full shave leaving a good post shave feel.
A wonderfully smooth 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.
Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.

I Agree withPaul on that. I had a Mint Personna Super Stainless Injector which initially I could not get a decent Shave, but now with the right blade is really good.It would be a crime not to use it for its intended purpose no matter how much it may fetch on the open market, just my opinion though!

With a Shave like today with the Mongoose I have no need to chase after the latest AC/SE creations, The big brush very easily whipped up a rich lather from the Arko, which helped the Mongoose deliver the smoothest of Shaves with a great close finish too. just have to use the Arko more, nice lather and I like the lemony scent it gives off.
