Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush:- Edwin Jagger Synth. v2.0 Silvertip Fibre Faux Horn 25/58mm knot
Soap/Cream:- The Club ~ Signature
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Razor/Blade:- Karve CB SS 'D' / Vintage NOS Gillette Super Stainless (spoiler) #5
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- L'Occitane Baux

The Signature is a very sophisticated scent straight from the tub and pretty strong in the face. The scent is mixed with two different types of Sandalwood, which are Arabian Sandalwood and Tunisian Sandalwood which I'm unable to tell the difference from each scent alone. However, I can smell Tobacco and Bourbon in the background behind the strong Sandalwood is pretty mild, because, both Arabian and Tunisian Sandalwood take over pretty strong in the face.

Tuesday 13 August

Soap - Intesa Cream
Brush - Zenith B10
Razor - Aluminium Tech
Blade - Gillette 7 O'Clock Permasharp (1)
Post - Witch Hazel/Intesa Glacial Lotion
AS - Brut Oceans

Even though the Zenith B10 has superb face feel, it seems to require twice as much soap and creating a lather with the brush seems to require more patience than my other boars. Even though it's one of my favourite brushes, I still use it now and again as a reminder to not buy any more boar brushes especially ones with floppier knots/bleached bristles. Nonetheless a good lather, and the razor/blade combination was a very smooth and efficient one.

Pre shave Prep: Pears Original Transparent
Brush: RR 400 Plissoft
Soap: Stirling Soap Co. Spice
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra SP (3)
Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Bay Rum Witch Hazel

Aftershave: Homemade Bay Rum#2 / Proraso Red

Futur RR400 S Spice (2).jpg

3 passes when 2 would have done, however, I was enjoying the shave.
BBS, although it resulted in some light indications from the block, not much though.
I really like the RR400 and it is a lather monster.
Finished off with a Splash of my homemade Bay Rum #2 Aftershave and a dollop of Nivea protect & care.
A good splash of Proraso Red and everything in the world is good.
Enjoy the rest of the day All.

Prep : warm water
Razor : Fatip Gentile Grande
Brush : MÜHLE boar
Blade : Gillette Rubie
Soap : Lea classic
Bowl : Just a bowl
Alum : De Vergulde Hand
After shave : Brut original

14th shave with the Rubie. Maybe I could strech it a bit but I called it a day. With more shaves I would have more small strokes for cleaning up. I'm poor, but not that poor ;) ;)
It's a keeper, next time a buy blades I'll buy a 100 pack of them.
