Hard to believe but it is over 2 months since I touched a Vintage SE. I have spent a long time trialling AC/ SEs and different blade combinations. Luckily, I have not forgotten that these oldies need care and attention when using them, and I was rewarded with a trouble free Shave, with a nice close all round finish.

Prep: Shower with PAA cube menthol

Pre:
PAA cube menthol

Soap: Geo F Trumper coconut oils shaving soap

Brush: PAA Phantom Aerolite Synthetic Shaving Brush

Razor: Tatara Masamune

Blade: Feather

Post: Alum, Baxter’s of California aftershave balm.
Gave the Geo one last try with the Phantom as I didn’t really rate the lather I was able to get, and it really did the trick! Still not sure I’ll keep but may trade on the future. The Masamune gave a BBS without thinking, it’s really too easy! I may need to go back to battle with the Model T just for a break in tone!3174E5F9-90F2-46BE-B6C6-FC2E1E4D23EC.jpeg

29 pages of SOTD's as I write. An exceptional week if ever and a fantastic turn out by all those who contributed.

I wish everyone a great weekend and another week of wonderful shaves ahead.

Keep it up you lovely people.

Whoever said that the SOTD was sacrament to the spirit of TSR was so so correct.

I love you all
