All came together with no errors,
Super smooth, smelling good

Splash = PAA Star Jelly Sample
Balm = Barts Balms Sample E

Another Brilliant shave today
First time for me on the PAA soap & Aftershave Jelly & it didn’t disappoint.
I do have 3 PAA soaps incoming but i won’t receive them for a while due to working away.
The aftershave is a first and pleasant experience.
Who would have thought Aftershave in a Gel
Honestly wasn’t expecting much but i have to say i’ll definitely be buying some,
i can imagine using this on holiday, a lovely fresh cooling effect with this one having Menthol.
The Balm is everything i’m come to expect from Barts Balms and i’ll go as far to say it is now my go to balm.
Once i’m back home i’ll be buying the three that’s available.
Onwards & Upwards Lads
i now look forward to tomorrow’s shave

balm - Vifrex
scent - ADP - Mirto de Panarea.

Great - a heavy growth coming off - the ideal time to reach for the humble shave stick. Thanks to @donnie_arko and others for reminding me of this fact in recent posts. A pleasure - I would suggest - much underrated in our pursuit of £20+ tubs of artisan soap. No groovy art work, no awesome smell - no matching aftershave - it just smells of soap. That being said - it works - and very well indeed for me. The Vie-Long is a re-branded version of the pre-reformulation LEA stick. If you are new to the trade - and having problems working out your growth pattern - a stick may be the way to go - as you paint it on - crayon style - it will leave more soap behind as you go against the grain - which commonly isn't simply linear - mine isn't - the swirly bit under my chin - if you look for this in the mirror before you lather, it becomes obvious - thus, allowing you to shave more accurately and in fewer passes. Which is a good thing? Warm day up here - a nice minty hit of Formula K - not too much menthol. Finished off with the Vifrex - which is very menthol - a long lasting cooling effect. Job done. Soap: A&E Monte Carlo

Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia

Razor: Homelike Start

Blade: Amazon Solimo

Post: Alum, Baxter’s of California Shave Tonic and Bart’s balm and A&E Monte Carlo aftershave

A first shave with the A&E Monte Carlo and as with all the A&E Soaps I’ve tried the scents are strong but always slightly different to what you expect but in a great way! I love the Homelike but it managed to slip out my hands 3 times for no apparent reason! Regardless it turned into a great shave nice, mild and great start to the day.
