A blade I really like in the Karve is the humble Treet Platinum - It works nicely , like most treet blades only good for a few shaves, but nice while it lasts.

A couple of things this morning,
1. This HWF is a very good shaving soap and is as good as any i have and better than a lot, i love the scent and lather it produces.
2. I prefer the milder but efficient razor types, The PILS being one of them, therefore the Blackbird SB/OC is re- demoted to the "to sell" list, don't get me wrong it delivers a wonderful finish and it looks the business, its just i prefer others over it.

Today on the first couple of strokes i had to check there was a blade in the PILS, the bristle laden lather said yes, the smooth skin said yes, the smoothness told me "that cant be right".
3 passes for a BBS, super comfortable finish, wonderful.

Much better shave this morning- the blade was smooth and combined with the excellent soap resulted in a comfortable shave. Thankyou to all forum members who have provided such a wealth of helpful advice on all matters shaving related.

I've photographed quite a few 'Celebs' and some are total C***s. Piers Morgan, would you believe is one of the nicest. I also managed a snap of Honour, she was like, why would you want to photograph me.

A classic and excellent shave this afternoon. The Castle Forbes creams are top notch, and with the original “Plissoft” brush produced a copious and wonderfully scented lather. The unrestored E1 Gillette razor simply wiped away the stubble, it is a really efficient razor for me.
