Brush - Omega 11819 (24mm/55mm)
Soap - Arko Puck
Razor - Yaqi Old Type
Blade - Gillette Nacet (5)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cooling Kick
Splash - Signature Soaps Danum Patchouli Splash

I've said it many times before but my humble Omega 11819 which has the same knot as the 10066, is clearly my favourite brush even if it is a bit of an occasional shedder (3 lost today), as it's got incredibly soft tips, with just enough scrub, it loads soap a delight and the length of the loft seems to be in the sweet spot as well for having enough flexibility without being floppy. Produced a delightful lather with Arko today, slick and thick.
I presume Yaqi also make their Old Type clone for Razorock and I'd been using my 1920's OT for the last few days and it was interesting to compare both razors, the Yaqi OT Clone is a touch more efficient than the original, but not as smooth, it reminded me why I don't really use the Yaqi OT that much.
A good shave in the end though, finished it with some Signature Soaps Patchouli splash, which really feels great on the skin.

Mon 24 SOTD
Soap Stirling Orange Chill
Bowl Turkish Copper
Brush Yaqi 26mm Orange Black Synthetic
Razor Fatip OC Grande
Blade Sharp JAWS 2nd
Post & Aftershave
Ice Water + Special Thayers Mix
Hyaluronic + Aqua Velva Musk
Excellent lather from this soap. The scent is beautiful orange...seems like someone just freshly squeeze some. Thick, creamy and enough slickness...
Matching brush is good for the job. Too much lather...even after 4pass there's more...save for another day.
The razor is famous for blade alignment issues but easily fixed and once ok...paired with this blade..wow! What a pleasure! Felt so smooth, so comfortable and yet sharp. Seems like the razor head clamped down quite well.
3+1 multiple direction passes and get a BBS result with 2 unexpected weepers on the chin and lower lip from last atg pass. Superb icy cold water rinse followed by Thayers then Hyaluronic and AV Musk. Rating 9/10. Would have been higher but gotta take points off for weepers.

SOTD 24th August

Ooh, that was nice - that was very nice!
Usual set up regarding lather and post shave - both were top notch. This was the Lancet's 3rd use and here it was paired up with the Star Model 100. And very, very nice it was. So much so, I'd dare to say its the best shave yet using these seldom ( this case never) used blades and razors. Very close, very smooth and the teenie, weeniest feedback from the alum block. The Star feels very similar in performance to the Tech, but seems to do everything that little bit better. Smoother, just as close but I don't have to concentrate on the angle of the razor as I find myself doing with the Tech.
The Lancet blade seems to be a hidden gem - fingers crossed it lasts for the fourth shave.
Stay safe people and enjoy your shaves
