If you had to choose, which would you choose and why ?
Thanks
Point taken. HaBe been DE wet shaving now for 2.5 years and while I would describe myself as an expert in terms of skill level I do believe that my technique is good ( hardly get weepers any more). Started out with an EJDE89 but then progressed onto a Black Beauty, before also trying out the FatBoy and Slim and using the Gillette's in rotation. I then acquired a Merkur Mergress, which I love, as just found it more efficient. A friend of mine suggested trying out one of the Rockwell adjustables, as he knew how I felt about my Mergress, hence the reason for my question. And yes I do like an adjustable razor, can't help it. Gillette's do still get used just not as often but will be keeping them for nostalgia. Would just like to have 2 Modern, efficiient and well made razors to use in rotation. Before offering us a choice between "pistols or swords" you would be better served by telling us how long you've been DE shaving and your honest admission of your skill level. You cannot "hardware" your way into a good shave w/o good technique & prep.

Hope this explains the question
Already have a Slim but felt that while I will still keep it, the Rockwell adjustables May be more efficient razors.I'd been considering a new razor, of which the rockwell 6S was in the list. I ended up going for a gillette slim. It will be easier to sell at a similar price rather than loose money on a new razor if I decide I don't like it.
Other than cost what's the difference between the 6C and 6S ?Try the Rockwell 6C. I've tried them both and it shaves exactly the same as the 6S but for me the 6C edged it.
Its my daily driver at the moment on a 5/6 plate.
Chromed zamak Vs stainless steelOther than cost what's the difference between the 6C and 6S ?
And the finish. The 6s is a machined matt finish.Other than cost what's the difference between the 6C and 6S ?
Thanks Bogeyman. Very much appreciated. Glad I saw this before blindly pulling the triggerBuy the cheaper zamak one first to see if you like it because if you don't like it then you will be out less coin than if you bought the stainless. Word to the wise.
