Its been a while since i used Obsidian probably because I won't be able to get this fantastic dark woodsy scent again, the lathef it makes is superb and the post shave feel is so good and used one of my own brushes 24mm tuxedo fan which are great little knots. Third shave with the Apollo and back to a Gillette Rubie and back no top compared to last nights shave with the Rapira, so smooth and it just glides through the shave.

Did not have the most pleasant of shaves yesterday, so was a bit apprehensive today as using this blade for the first time in the Wabbit. I should not have worried because the Proline is a blade that works for me in most Razors. The Shave with this blade was not only smooth and comfortable, but was by far and away the best finish, attained so far when using either a Schick [Chick ] or Personna.

The Spitfire balm smells very leathery. I smell like an old leather bag that's had a used cigarette sat in it for a week. Shame as I like the smell of the soap. @Digimonkey - no piss smell

New Orange brush to whip up the Orange Chill to a nice creamy and slick lather. What a nice Orange burst scent with great cooling feel. Brush is really soft but good enough for face lathering and an excellent painter. More than enough for 4passes.
Shave with a combination of RR SLOC head on a Pearl OC paired with the smooth Tatra was very interesting. Very audible feedback, it was smooth, and comfortable but oblivious blade feel. 3+1 multiple passes with 1 weeper. Very close shave with between BBS to DFS result. Icy water rinse followed by Icy Thayers then Hyaluronic and AV Musk seals a great session. 9/10

Sidenote: The razor combination feels more aggressive but yet smooth and comfortable.

A very nice shave earlier today, just sat down to post this.
The Vectis scent is right up my street, wonderful, it reminds me of something in the past, however, i am not sure what though.
The same great lather whisked up in no time at all with enough for a 4 pass shave. Maybe i should have used up the last bit!
3 passes for a DFS+ finish, i noticed i had missed a little bit just under/along the jawline, oh well, no-one will know.
I do enjoy using this razor, it was unused/NOS when i bagged it and it really suits my style. i find it so easy to use and it is normally very efficient giving me fantastic shaves, (op error today)
A nice post shave routine leaving me feeling and smelling good.

This is a pre-shave photo so the brush looks sparkling and brand new, having just arrived in the mail. Definitely the last brush I'll be buying for a while as have have enough synths now to rotate daily for the week.

And... Davidoff Cool Water... for me, this is the spiritual successor to the early Shulton Old Spice. It has a superb combination of spicy fresh muskyness that just seems timeless. I'm sure it will be around for decades to come and I just hope no-one pisses about with it in the future! (I just wish someone would put a ship on the bottle)
