On a different subject I bought a pair of expensive head phones from the Bay of fleas recently for nearly £300.
The item was tracked and "signed" for but it never arrived to my address.
They showed me a signature by the surname of "Hughes". No where near "Pritchard"
I literally did not have a leg to stand on with the bay or Pay pal.
Having contacted Royal Mail and explaining the situation I am still none the wiser.
I have known my fraudulent for years and he is a great guy. He informed me that the units they use when you sign for a parcel has a GPS tracking advice. How true that is I do not know but when I brought the subject up with RM they apparently did not have the GPS details of this transaction.
They explained that the seller has to open a dispute with them yet he has since vanished from the bay.
My complaint is that it is me who is out of pocket not the seller. Have you ever heard of something so ridiculous?
This is the first time it has ever happened to me and hopefully the last.
A couple of quid we can all probably get away with but £300. (Just think of all of the amazing shaving products I could have bought for that money
)
On a serious note guys it is "food for thought"
