Ebay, but have run out at the moment, check next week, will let you know when I see them @Blackmass
I've been in touch with Shearworld in the USA, who sell the Schick Proline P-30 (i.e. 30 blades) for $19.95. The shipping to UK is $13.50 USPS International Package. I'm not sure how many Prolines can be sent in one go at that price (I tried 2 and it stays the same), but I've tried putting 10 in my Basket and it rises to $22.50.Ebay, but have run out at the moment, check next week, will let you know when I see them @Blackmass
Mmm, it sounds like it could work out to be expensive. Are those the F.AC replacement blades or the shorter ones used in the older injectors?I've been in touch with Shearworld in the USA, who sell the Schick Proline P-30 (i.e. 30 blades) for $19.95. I haven't yet decided what to do about this, as I had a pen costing $19.99 plus $9.99 postage sent to me. When it arrived yesterday, it had acquired an additional £4.35 in VAT plus the RM "Dick Turpin Fee" of £8. To say I was p****d off would be an understatement.
They're the AC type, and the same as the P-20, except that you get 30 blades rather than 20. The 38mm Schick Proline blades for injectors are designated B-20, and appear impossible to obtain outside Japan. I might be interested in them if they're better than the Chinese Schicks, which I had several of from Connaught, but don't much like. It may be worthwhile my asking Shearworld if they can obtain them; and perhaps a quid pro quo of a P-30 order might grease the wheels a bit.Mmm, it sounds like it could work out to be expensive. Yes I feel much the same, and I thought highway robbery had died out year's ago! They're the AC type, and the same as the P-20, except that you get 30 blades rather than 20. I'm still in limbo with the chap in Japan who reckoned he could get various blades apart from Feathers and Kais, as he hasn't got back to me.
Whether these exotics come from the USA or Japan, the shipping costs aren't small (although I think $22.50 for 300 P-30 blades isn't too bad), but the kicker, as usual, is the UK official extortion racket. In theory I don't have a problem with paying the supplier and indirectly USPS or Japan Post, but I most definitely jib at lavishly rewarding HMG and Royal Mail for doing Sweet FA.
If you did go for the 300 blades would you be selling some on or are you thinking of a long term investment? They're the AC type, and the same as the P-20, except that you get 30 blades rather than 20.
